I just wanted to thank the Lord that MMI is now available in New York.
The licensure process cleared recently and I am able to fully and autonomously practice in New York State!
I also want to thank all the helpful people in the government, legislature, and nursing organizations who fought for this freedom. Thank you also for making the certification process clear and not overly cumbersome.
May the rest of the nation follow New York's lead in this matter and allow Nurse practitioners the right to practice freely to the fullest extent of their training and ability.
Now if we can just get national licensure, we will be all set!😉
